IO Interactive recently confirmed Hitman 2, the sequel to its Hitman game that was very well received when it was launched a couple of years ago. Fans of the franchise are really looking forward to taking the new game for a spin. IO Interactive has now confirmed a crucial detail about the game. It has confirmed that Hitman 2 is going to feature six locations at launch.
The company had demonstrated the Miami level of Hitman 2 at E3 2018 as well as the Sniper Assassin standalone experience that will allow players to perform assassinations in co-op.
It has now revealed that six confirmed locations will be immediately playable when Hitman 2 is released in the coming months. There will be multiple missions available within each location as well so players will have a lot of ground to cover. These missions will include the core campaign missions, Escalation Contracts, Contracts created by players, and Elusive Targets.
Hitman 2 is now available for pre-order on all supported platforms. Those who do will get instant access to the aforementioned standalone Sniper Assassin experience with its co-op mode. Hitman 2 is going to be released on November 13th, IO Interactive has already confirmed. It’s going to be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
