Samsung Galaxy A (2019) Series Could Get Triple-Lens Cameras

Companies such as Samsung typically keep the bleeding edge features reserved for its flagship handsets, such as the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series. However if recent reports are to be believed, it looks like Samsung could be bringing some of its high-end features to its mid-range handsets.

A report from Korea has revealed that Samsung could be bringing a triple lens camera setup to its Galaxy A series, which is typically known as its mid-range lineup. This is interesting given the fact that Samsung has no triple camera smartphone at the moment, although there are rumors suggesting that 2019’s Galaxy S10 could pack it.

In addition to including a triple lens camera to its 2019 Galaxy A series of smartphones, the report also claims that Samsung could be thinking of introducing in-display fingerprint sensors to the Galaxy A series as well. Like we said these are usually features reserved for flagship phones, but perhaps Samsung is trying to make its mid-rangers more compelling.

With so many Chinese OEMs putting out affordable yet decently specced phones, we imagine that the competition is heating up and so a triple lens camera setup and an in-display fingerprint sensor could be what it takes for Samsung to stay competitive.
