A rumor from a couple of months ago suggested that the next Assassin’s Creed game could be set in Greece. Those rumors started to gain more traction yesterday when a photo was leaked online that showed off a keychain that further hinted at the game’s settings in Greece. For those wondering, wonder no more as Ubisoft has since confirmed it.
Ubisoft has recently posted a very short teaser trailer on Twitter which shows what appears to be a Spartan soldier kicking another soldier off a cliff, similar to the movie “300”. However the teaser is pretty short and it’s hard to tell what else we can expect in the game, but we do know that a new Assassin’s Creed game is in the works that will be shown off at E3 2018.

Details of the game will most likely be shared along with a release date, and also we have to say that we are curious as to whether or not the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be making it onto the Nintendo Switch. Ubisoft has been kind of easing off on the release of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, where it used to be an annual release.
The last Assassin’s Creed game was Origins which was released last year, although there was a two year gap from its previous release, Unity.
